Just for your information: it was a very smoggy day! It was so smoggy, that you could see the air in front of you. If you want to make a picture, you had to make sure that the flash is switched off, because otherwise, the pictures look like you are photographing through a dirty window.

As Lorenz indicated the day before that he might come with me to shanghai, we agreed on meeting the other day in order to find a travel agency to buy tickets together. Problem was, he arrived here pretty late, so searching for the ticket office was nonsense. So we decided to have a ride with the subway to Beihai Park. As it was the first time I took the underground, I was rather happy that I was accompanied by Lorenz. Unfortunately, we entered the station at the peak of rush hour. However, it was much easier than I thougt – in fact there is no big difference to London. When we got out, I relied on Lorenz to find the Park as he had the map – which turned out to be a bad idea, though :-D It took us about 1,5 hours to find the park. When we arrived there, it was already dark. We relaxed a bit there on a bench. But as the air was so bad, we decided to go home after a while.
